DCS also offers numerous programs, activities, and sports with a Christian focus. With an enrollment over 360, DCS stands ready to meet the needs of children located in northeastern South Carolina and southeastern North Carolina.

Nancy Carter would like remind all students about the summer reading program. Students have to read 4 age or grade appropriate books and the parents need to sign off on them. When school starts in August they should bring the list to her. K-4 receive a prize and 5-12 get 10 points toward their grade.
THE DCS BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND THE BOOSTER CLUB FOR ATHLETICS ARE CONSIDERING PURCHASING 1-2 SMALL, 14 PASSENGER BUSES FOR THE SCHOOL AND THE ATHLETIC TEAMS.
