D.C.S. UPDATE
May 23,  2008

But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him.  He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends outs its roots by the stream.  It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green.  It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”  Jeremiah 17:7-8

MESSAGE FROM DR. DAVID C. BULT:
It has been an honor and privilege for me to serve as Headmaster of Dillon Christian School for the last nine years.  I have been blessed by serving with a wonderful, dedicated Board of Directors, great faculty and staff and great parents and students.

Dillon Christian School has experienced miraculous academic and physical growth over the last  nine years.  The D.C.S. curriculum has been expanded to include both Honor and Advance Placement opportunities, along with Northeastern Technical College(N.E.T.C.), college based classes for interested juniors and seniors.  Standardized test scores which includes the Stanford Achievement test, PLAN(Pre-ACT Test), PSAT, SAT & ACT scores indicate that our students are well prepared and are performing above the national norm.  Our graduates are enrolled in the Colleges and Universities of their choice, and are doing well.  All this has been accomplished in a Christian environment, where Jesus Christ is uplifted and honored.  Many students have been saved and continue to grow spiritually, while attending D.C.S.  Dillon Christian School is proud to witness to our students through a Bible- based curriculum, Bible classes, homeroom devotions, chapels, and the Christian influence of teachers and coaches.

The physical facilities have expanded to include a field house, football, softball, and baseball field; the gym and academic center, and Warrior Hall.

Speaking on behalf of Coach Bult, Sylvia Bult, and myself, we feel a great deal of satisfaction and humility to have been a part of this work.  God called us to D.C.S. and we thank Him for allowing us to serve in this ministry.

I will, within the next few days, turn the duties and responsibilities of Headmaster over to John Davis, God's man for the hour.  I am confident D.C.S. will continue to grow for Christ under Mr. Davis' leadership.  My final request to the D.C.S. family is that you give the same level of support and prayer that you gave to my family.  D.C.S. will remain in our hearts and prayers.  D.C.S. is “second to none”, all to the praise and honor of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy.  To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever.  Amen.  Jude 1:24 & 25
