Mrs. Mary Brown

My name is Mary Brown and I am looking forward to what the Lord will be doing this year at Dillon Christian School. My husband, Michael, is a Family Physician at Dillon Family Medicine and also serves as chairman of the DCS school board. We have five children. Daniel, a 2010 graduate of Dillon Christian School, is now a freshman at Clemson University. Kathryn, who is currently in the 10 th grade, participates in student council, cheerleading, volleyball, basketball, and softball. Samuel who is in the 8 th grade plays football and basketball. Anna is in the 4 th grade and loves to cheer for the Warriors by being active in the pep club. Anna also dances and plays the piano. Andrew, my youngest, is in the first grade and plays soccer. I also have a stepson David who attended Dillon Christian School from its beginning and graduated in our first class in 2001.

The Lord saved me at the age of 12 and I have been growing in my knowledge and relationship to Him. I am a member of First Presbyterian Church in Dillon and am active in the Women's ministries. I enjoy teaching and doing Bible studies. My favorite scripture is Ephesians 2:10 which is also the theme verse for the Women in our church. “For we our God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

This is my 22 nd year of teaching and my eleventh year at Dillon Christian School. I am currently teaching 5 th grade English, Bible, and History. I will be helping with the Jr. Pep club and will sponsor the middle school Beta Club and the Spelling Bee.
