DCS is accredited by the South Carolina Independent School Association (SCISA). Dillon Christian School offers a private, Christian school alternative from Pre-K to 12th grade. DCS also offers numerous programs, activities, and sports with a Christian focus. With an enrollment over 360, DCS stands ready to meet the needs of children located in northeastern South Carolina and southeastern North Carolina.

D.C.S. RECEPTION HONORING DR. BULT:
There will be a reception honoring Dr. Bult on Tuesday, May 20 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in Warrior Hall. All students, families, coaches, faculty, staff, board members, and members of the community are invited to come.

JUNIOR CHEERLEADING CAMP :
D.C.S. Junior Cheer Camp for ages 3-12, will be held on June 9-12 from 9:00-12:00 in the gym. The cost will be $50.00, which will include a camp t-shirt, daily snacks and a camp picture. Please join us for a time of cheers, dances, games and lots of FUN!!!!

NEW HEADMASTER NAMED:
The D.C.S. Board of Directors is pleased to announce the hiring of new headmaster, John Davis, effective June 1, 2008. The Board of Directors would like to thank the “search committee” for their assistance and for the many hours they spent in their search. Also, many thanks to everyone for their prayers and support. Mr. Davis and his wife Teresa will re-visit the D.C.S. campus to meet faculty, staff and students on Friday, May 16, 2008. Please continue to keep D.C.S. in your prayers at all times and especially during this important transition.

MISSION TRIP-May 15-18, 2008:
The Spanish II and III honor classes will visit Atlanta, Ga., on May 15-18, 2008. The purpose of this missionary endeavor is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to the hispanic community. Please pray for this special trip, that many souls will be saved and that our students will be drawn closer to our Savior, as they witness in His behalf. Mr. Alex Mark, faculty advisor, is handling the details of this wonderful trip.

ELLEN FOSTER MEMORIAL FUND:
The Senior Class of 2008 is sponsoring a fundraiser to purchase a headstone for the grave of Ellen Foster. Ellen was a student at Dillon Christian School when she died suddenly in the third grade(1998). She would have graduated with this senior class. We challenge each class to participate in this fundraiser. They would like to purchase this headstone by May 16th. The winning class will receive a popsicle party. Jars will be placed in each home room class.
